Rowkeep is a row counter for knitting and crochet. There is no user account, no advertising and no analytics or tracking components. Your projects, counts, notes and patterns are stored only on your device. The app has no access to the microphone or the camera. The internet is used only for Google Play purchases and, if Google shows it, the Google Play rating dialog.

Your projects, row and counter values, reminders, work times, notes, statistics and settings are stored in the private app storage on your device. Every count is saved immediately. Nothing is sent to the developer or to any server.
If you attach a pattern, you choose a PDF or an image yourself in the Android system file picker. The app only gets access to the file you picked, not to your other files, photos or folders. It saves a copy of that file in its private app storage so the pattern stays available; the copy never leaves your device. Deleting the pattern or the project removes the copy.
You can save all projects as a ZIP file and restore them from a ZIP file. You choose where the file is saved, or which file is opened, in the Android system file dialog; the app does not upload it anywhere. If you use Android's backup, Android may include the app data in your own Google backup under your Google account. The developer has no access to it.
The app does not request the microphone or camera permission and cannot access either.
The internet connection is used only for buying and verifying a subscription (monthly or yearly, with a trial period) through Google Play Billing. Google processes payment data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy: Google privacy policy. The developer receives no payment data. The app may also ask you for a rating through Google's In-App Review API; the dialog is shown and processed by Google Play, and the developer does not learn whether or how you rated.
If you start a trial, the app shows a reminder 24 hours before it ends. Row reminders inside the app use vibration. Both are created locally on your device; no server is involved.
When you finish a project, you can create a share image. It is only passed on if you pick a target in the Android share menu yourself.
The app contains no advertising, no advertising IDs, no analytics, tracking or crash-reporting SDKs and no account.
Your data is not passed on to third parties.
You can delete projects and patterns in the app. All app data is removed by clearing the app data in the Android settings or by uninstalling the app. ZIP backups you saved yourself remain where you stored them.
The app does not knowingly collect data from children and is not directed at them.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
If the functions of the app change, this policy will be updated. The version published here applies.

Deine Projekte, Reihen- und Zählerstände, Erinnerungen, Arbeitszeiten, Notizen, Statistik und Einstellungen liegen im privaten App-Speicher auf deinem Gerät. Jede Zählaktion wird sofort gespeichert. Nichts wird an den Entwickler oder an einen Server gesendet.
Hängst du ein Muster an, wählst du selbst eine PDF-Datei oder ein Bild im Dateiauswähler des Android-Systems. Die App erhält nur Zugriff auf die gewählte Datei, nicht auf deine übrigen Dateien, Fotos oder Ordner. Sie legt eine Kopie dieser Datei im privaten App-Speicher ab, damit das Muster verfügbar bleibt; die Kopie verlässt dein Gerät nicht. Löschst du das Muster oder das Projekt, wird die Kopie entfernt.
Du kannst alle Projekte als ZIP-Datei sichern und aus einer ZIP-Datei wiederherstellen. Wo die Datei gespeichert oder welche Datei geöffnet wird, bestimmst du im Dateidialog des Android-Systems; die App lädt sie nirgendwohin hoch. Nutzt du die Android-Sicherung, kann Android die App-Daten in deine eigene Google-Sicherung unter deinem Google-Konto aufnehmen. Der Entwickler hat darauf keinen Zugriff.
Die App fragt weder die Mikrofon- noch die Kamera-Berechtigung an und kann auf beides nicht zugreifen.
Die Internetverbindung wird nur genutzt für den Kauf und die Prüfung eines Abos (monatlich oder jährlich, mit Probezeit) über Google Play Billing. Zahlungsdaten verarbeitet Google als eigenständiger Verantwortlicher nach der eigenen Datenschutzerklärung: Datenschutzerklärung von Google. Der Entwickler erhält keine Zahlungsdaten. Außerdem kann die App dich über die In-App-Review-Schnittstelle von Google um eine Bewertung bitten; der Dialog wird von Google Play angezeigt und verarbeitet, der Entwickler erfährt nicht, ob und wie du bewertet hast.
Startest du eine Probezeit, zeigt die App 24 Stunden vor deren Ende eine Erinnerung. Reihen-Erinnerungen in der App nutzen die Vibration. Beides entsteht lokal auf deinem Gerät, ein Server ist nicht beteiligt.
Schließt du ein Projekt ab, kannst du ein Bild zum Teilen erstellen. Es wird nur weitergegeben, wenn du selbst im Teilen-Menü von Android ein Ziel auswählst.
Die App enthält keine Werbung, keine Werbe-IDs, keine Analyse-, Tracking- oder Absturzberichts-SDKs und kein Benutzerkonto.
Deine Daten werden nicht an Dritte weitergegeben.
Projekte und Muster kannst du in der App löschen. Alle App-Daten entfernst du, indem du in den Android-Einstellungen die App-Daten löschst oder die App deinstallierst. Selbst gespeicherte ZIP-Sicherungen bleiben dort, wo du sie abgelegt hast.
Die App erhebt wissentlich keine Daten von Kindern und richtet sich nicht an sie.
Nach der Datenschutz-Grundverordnung hast du das Recht auf Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung der Verarbeitung, Datenübertragbarkeit und Widerspruch sowie das Recht, dich bei einer Aufsichtsbehörde zu beschweren.
Ändern sich die Funktionen der App, wird diese Erklärung angepasst. Es gilt die hier veröffentlichte Fassung.
